The purpose of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) is to be the pastor’s advisory board of the parish. The PPC encourages participation of the entire parish in the life and mission of St. Martin’s Church. In prayerful reflection and in light of church teachings, the PPC researches, develops, and advises the pastor concerning the pastoral plan. The pastoral plan involves the spiritual life of the parish, and it is the responsibility of the pastor to provide its vision.
The PPC typically consists of 15 members and the requirements for membership are as follows:

• A Catholic in good standing
• A member of the parish for at least one year
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be actively involved in at least one ministry in the parish
• Commitment of up to 2 consecutive years, with one-year extensions, not to exceed 6 years
• Membership is expected to be a serious commitment including participation at the sub-committee level

Meetings are typically the 3rd Monday of each month.
