This ministry gives parishioners the opportunity to experience first hand the realities & struggles of life on Skid Row, while providing food and clothing for over 300 men, women and children. The opportunity to serve is an experience that an entire family can participate in by giving everyone a compassionate perspective. Volunteers of all ages are welcome as they collect donations of clothes, shoes, blankets and basic essentials. They meet approximately every 6 weeks in the Parish Hall at 10:00am on Saturday mornings to make lunches, organize, fold and sort items that have been collected. The following morning (Sunday) they meet at the Parish Hall at 7:00am to caravan/carpool down to Los Angeles’ skid row to distribute donations. This opportunity provides a chance to step forward and be a part of something special as the experience makes members realize through gratitude the blessings God has bestowed upon them.

This is our preparation day where we organize and fold clothes, assemble hygiene kits and make over 300 sack lunches. There is always a high demand for hygiene products, socks, and men’s clothes.
Sunday, May 21 Join us at 7am when we caravan to LA’s Skid Row
This is an experience that the entire family can participate in while providing food, clothing, compassion and prayer to the men, woman and children living on the streets of Los Angeles.
