The organization volunteers prepare and serve meals for the Homeless in the Santa Ana Area at the Southwest Community Center (1601 W. Second Street, Santa Ana, CA). Service is provided for approximately 60 to 100 people. Team Leads coordinate and plan the food service, which includes buying meal ingredients (all expenses are reimbursable). There are typically two leads and 10 volunteers per serving session. Volunteers assist Team Leads with food prep, service and cleaning duties. Service schedules are: The 4th Sunday of every Month; cooks arrive at noon, servers arrive by 1:00 pm and completed service by 3:00 pm. The 3rd Saturday of odd months; cooks arrive at 3:00 pm, servers arrive by 4:00 pm and completed service by 6:00 pm. The 5th Saturday of any month; cooks arrive by 11:00 am, servers arrive by noon and completed service by 2:00 pm.
